Pros

some of the things which can be labelled as pros of aricent: > flexible timings, no card punching red tapism, good projects if you are passionate in telecom.

Cons

cons include: > work load is more than you can handle, you will treated like machine. > you will feel cheated with the amount of work you do and the compensation you get. > gradually, all the policies have been shifted towards employer's benefit like notice period has been increased to a quarter, introduction of bond for new joinees. >if you want to work in this firm, forget the concept of work-life balance as they literally own you, not easy to approve leaves from the management. > in most of the projects, the amount of work vs the number of resources is often unjustified which leads to more pressure on the team. >when the cycle of annual hike evince, the company fakes false claims of losses and hence, the best hike never crosses 10 percent, so, employees streching more than 50 hours a week feels being cheated. > the work culture is anything but fun-loving as the most of the employees falls under the band of 'nerd'. > no room given for creativity while at work.

Pros

- Standard benefits - Depending on the team you're on, can be a relatively easygoing environment - Ample vacation time, generally readily approved

Cons

- Far, FAR below market wage - No yearly raises or even discussion. With inflation, I'm making less now than I did previously. - Zero room for advancement (see below) - You can be a superstar for the client but that translates into no actual benefits pay or promotion wise at Capgemini - they're entirely unrelated. - My manager basically forgot I exist for over a year which means no discussion about performance, promotion, raises, etc - Opaque processes around pay, promotion, etc - Come here if you want your career and paycheck to stagnate and die - Zero appreciation or acknowledgement from the Capgemini team with the client - there's no carrot and stick, just the stick. No real reason to go above and beyond.
