Pros
I joined it when it was Aricent and got to be a part of the Cisco Project. If you are a fresher, then it is a good place to learn and enhance your abilities. I got an opportunity to be a part of the backend team of the Cisco Unity Connection Project. When I joined this project, I know nothing means nothing. After getting into that project I learnt a lot in Java, Networking, shell scripting, how backend works, Rest Api's, Performance etc. 1. A very good environment. 2. Seniors are very supportive and encouraging. 3. You will get a proper appreciation for your good work. 4. My manager is very nice, if I get a testing work, which is of not my interest. She helps me to get my some dev work.
Cons
1. Nothing can be worse than it became a part of Capgemini now. (So, this year there will be no compensation cycle) 2. Hikes are very less. 3. On release time, no work-life balance. You need to give sometimes 11-12 hrs of the day. 4. Multiple tasks in a sprint.
