Easy to crack interview as they just need more people and no sound quality check is done. So, if one is not sure about their skills, then just memorize few interview answers found online and give it a try. If you are a fresher, chances are high that one would be hired at a dirt cheap rate. So its fairly easy to get in. Since its service industry, you can enjoy the benefits of full salary while not having any project. There are lot of projects with each having different requirements, which is a good opportunity to learn , so better take it seriously, learn some skills worthy to be mentioned in resume and move on.
Cons
Since there are a lot of projects with different requirements, most of the times, resources are pushed on to clients and you might get a tag of developer but end up running tests in testing team. Hence , with passing time and adding years of experience, one ends up being a very average jack of all trades and master of none. Which eventually makes it harder to someone get back to a particular profile(like a developer) unless one puts in the hard work and keep themselves prepared for the next switch. Payment is extremely less and depends on bosses. One could either shine or rot in this environment. No acknowledgement/bonuses given, however good you are.
