Pros

I am working for this company from last 8 years , close to 5 years as employee . You will love this company working as a consultant rather than employee . Flexible work hours , Good cafeteria's and nice perks . You will definitely excel in this company if you are a project manager or into project management . There are not much pros about this company .

Cons

Though the vision of the company is to become another FB , Google , Yahoo , Intuit they do not have the resources , caliber or the balls to become one in current market . This company is probably few years behind compared to any true tech company . The commitment ( verbal ) is to build the skill set or to hire people who can or are proficient with coding aspects of emerging technologies but they necessary doesn't show while implementing it. All it cares about is being politically right and definitely people can get promoted who are good Project managers or who can suck up to their management . Not a good company who are technical savy.

Pros

Some of the smartest individuals in their fields. The focus is always “forward” and the company is willing to adopt new tech to stay ahead for the purposes of the company’s (key word there) benefit. Great PTO and benefits.

Cons

The company’s drive to keep itself moving forward has caused it to regress in other aspects. As a leading tech company first, and leading bank second, it’s embarrassing what their stance is on hybrid and remote work. The company can easily accommodate remote options for their employees not near main offices, but chooses not to. I am relocating to a major city with no major CapOne presence and their response was “too bad, either fly up weekly or you’ll be terminated for not meeting the hybrid requirements”. It’s embarrassing because most of my week is remote anyways. I wonder how many current and past employees have been impacted, and I’m worried about how much talent they’ll be pushing away in the coming years.
