Pros

I had good managers and excellent training. If I were younger or earlier in my career it would have been an excellent starting position, but at this point in my life I didn’t have the time or patience really to work up from square 1. The sexual harassment training specifically called out misgendering people as sexual/gender harassment, which was good.

Cons

The call center is open until 7pm which is great for customers, but hard if you have a family. The environment is very fast paced due to the constant calls, and I did not get paid enough to be that level of emotionally tired at the end of a shift It’s hard to hit the sales minimums for bonuses unless you’re willing to deal with people being rude because they get offered online banking and max money accounts every time they call. You can’t get promoted unless you hit the matrix by either getting through calls so fast you don’t have time for good service or offering so many products you annoy people. I caught myself getting annoyed at sweet old lonely people who wanted to chat and young people who had lots of questions about how their bank accounts worked because they took so long they messed up my daily call numbers. Even though MMJ is legal in MO, the company requires drug testing and had no exceptions for green cards. I had a major flare in my chronic condition and a significant increase in daily pain because I had to switch back to less effective pain management.
