Pros
- Plenty of opportunity to gain new skills - No 2 days are ever the same - Friendly colleagues who genuinely care about ‘Being Co-op’ - Good bonus - Great pension scheme (matched and doubled by employer)
Cons
- Training and progression can be a bit hit and miss across the different business functions (not the case in my area) - Inconsistent salaries for the same role in different business areas. Unachievable ‘up-to’ upper brackets when roles are advertised. - Several consecutive restructures have left colleagues wearing ‘multiple hats’ and doing the jobs of 3 or more people.
