Pros

Plenty of projects, so no dearth of work. Good NA relocation policy. Flexibility offered to move across projects and verticals. Good training material and knowledge base in e-learning and certifications. Health benefits are good. Bench period offered between projects is good. Stock plan is good. CTSH shares are always above 20 dollars. Green card policy is good. Diversity in business is good. It is not totally dependent on any sector

Cons

You will Suffer from low self esteem if you are from premier league universities of India or america. Not proud to be with Cognizant., service industry slavery, Exploitation of people in US who are on L1 visa. Cognizant is mostly into Testing. It should rename itself to Cognizant Testing Services. In media they say that they recruit MBAs from top schools to offer them challenging roles, but those ppor chaps are made to do manual testing or maintenance crap, albeit for a higher salary. At present Cognizant is laying off people secretly in the US. It should not do like this. Instead it should sent its US associates to India in this crisis.

Pros

* They train new grads, so you get a lot of valuable training * Depending on the projects, it has the potential to have a good life balance *Hybrid and Remote opportunity Will recommend to get your foot in the door

Cons

* Pay is not very competitive. Needs improvement * Depending on some client projects, the work-life balance can also be very bad * The culture is horrible, the outlook and appearance of the company is so different than what is on the ground—cutthroat culture, pushing culture. * Sometimes it enables a rude and disrespectful culture * Career growth is very minimal * tend to hire lots of indians, and an indian dominated culture/circle can make a non indian feel left out
