Since the merger and becoming RTX, the company has gone down the rabbit hole of profits over quality and people. If you come in at a lower level than you would qualify for with either experience or education, it is virtually impossible to move into those positions because of pay grade differences, basically locking you into lower positions and hindering advancement. They also pride themselves on not being the best paying employer, making hiring and retaining talent even more difficult.
