Pros

Pro used to be the staff that were there. However, the majority of the qualified, high quality staff saw writing on the wall and wisely left for better jobs.

Cons

Extremely poor corporate management. CEO Vemuri and his underlings are no better, and maybe even worse, than the unprofessional Xerox upper mgmt that was in place prior. Increased layoffs since Jan 1. Slash in benefits, especially severance program. How convenient they did that just in time to slash many long term employees and screw them over. Increased offshoring, including for parts of business that don't make sense and will never work with India employees. They are just taking advantage of cheap labor and it shows in lack of quality being returned. It is a disgrace to so many good US workers that this company continues to offshore jobs. Many long term employees, including myself, got out as we did not see a positive future. Conduent says they want to be the employer of choice. No chance that will happen with way company is currently run. Employees still at Conduent deserve so much better. Pray your divisions get sold to companies that care about your business, you as employees, and don't farm work out overseas.

Pros

Paid on time, provided equipment, decent benefits from day one, nice co-workers

Cons

Sweatshop mentality of the supervisors, threats of demotion/termination for medical leave, random layoffs when calls didn't justify hours, with those same hours shifted to supervisors to keep them active. Unable to print paystubs, had to request everything through a supervisor, and provide copious amounts of private information to have the request honored. Corrosive environment - I left as soon as I got another offer, gave 24 hours notice (and I've never, ever done that before). Unless you're on the verge of homelessness or starvation, avoid at all costs.
