Pros
I learned skilled which made me valuable to better employers. If you are currently stuck there I recommend using it as resume padding but get out before you get stuck there for 5 years like I did.
Cons
No flexibility, culture and morale is non-existent. I was there for 5 years and worked my way up to a Senior Specialist/Technical Analyst and was still being paid 10% less than entry level Customer Service Agents down the street. Promotions do not necessarily come with raises unless you have connections. I have witnessed constant harassment towards lower level employees from their management. Such as, personal insults and tearing people down, (not referring to professional feedback) mocking people’s appearance, telling women not think with their “emotions” or that they need to “toughen up.”
