Pros
Provides the safety of working for a large multinational company, multiple advancement opportunities for those willing to relocate.
Cons
Limited advancement without relocating, including almost complete lack of merit based raises. Very behind the times compared to competing companies. Management mostly seems to consist of people who were promoted simply because they had been there the longest, not because they were the best for the job.
