Pros

Nice office in Prague, 3 days a week at home office, which is even good these days, although I believe that work should be completely remote

Cons

The company relies on cheap workforce rather than strong engineering competencies, therefore, is not a company where you will be respected based on your experience and skills. There are clans run here, and the most interesting projects and tasks go to "the insiders". Personally, I have experienced professional humiliation here, where my work experience and expertise are simply devalued. While I have many years of experience and capable of solving architectural-level tasks, I have being used as a "firefighter". I was given tasks that no one else wanted to do, for example, tasks that were technically impossible to complete without redesigning the entire system or junior-level tasks. However, when I tried to leave the Company, they held me by manipulating with my fear of returning to my home country. At the same time, I was constantly given promises that they had no intention of fulfilling. This led to a catastrophe in my life, as I eventually came to believe in them. Do not repeat my mistakes and do not come here to work.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your experience at our Orlando site. We’re glad to read that you valued the salary, the 4x10 shift structure, and especially the relationships with your peers. At the same time, we regret the challenges you described related to senior management behavior, HR involvement, and consistency in people practices. A respectful, professional work environment where policies are applied fairly and leaders act with accountability is fundamental to our culture, and it’s clear there are areas where continued improvement is needed. To clarify, participation in company supported charitable or donation initiatives is strictly voluntary. Employees are not expected or required to contribute, and any perception of pressure is not aligned with our policies or expectations. If these initiatives were experienced differently, we would take that feedback seriously and see it as an opportunity to reflect on how our communications and practices are perceived. While we are sorry to learn that the overall culture did not meet your expectations, we appreciate you clearly outlining your concerns. Feedback like this plays an important role in ongoing reflection and improvement. Thank you for the contributions you made during your time with DHL. We wish you all the best moving forward. Best regards, Your DHL Team
