Pros

Good medical and dental benefit. Have shift allowance. Career opportunities. Can learn a lot to use excel, gain presentation and training skill.

Cons

No work life balance. Bad higher management decision. Overload with work. Work in shift, Malaysia public holiday does not apply but will be replace on another time. Need to apply annual leave for weekend and public holiday where it can be ugly battle between team members.

A good work-life balance should be aligned between the employees and the business needs to find the most appropriate agreement in strict compliance with local laws and global regulations. The particular business needs that require work on weekends or on Public Holidays shouldn't be a reason to violate labor rights and people's access to Work/Life balance. We continue to work hard to review our organizational structure to improve were possible and allow more balance work distribution. You mention a key advantage of working at DHL, this being the opportunities for Learning and Development across all levels and roles.
