DHL Global Forwarding, Freight

Part of DHL

Is this your company?

Not bad. A lot to learn but not too stressful. - Customs Brokerage Entry Processor DHL Global Forwarding, Freight Employee Review

Pros

Start with 3 weeks vacation, $15/hr (in a state where minimum wage is $7.25) College degree not required. 5 weeks of paid training. Leadership is always willing to help and answer questions. You learn a lot of valuable info if you apply yourself and have an open mind.

Cons

Strict about time punches. Communication of goals is too often unclear with changing and conflicting messages. Can be mundane. Extra duties also get in the way of main work.

Pros

Not a single one comes to mind

Cons

I don't think there is enough words for how absolutely horrid the management is in Detroit. They do not care about you as a person. They smile in your face then break your morale, the very little we have left. They tell you to come to them when you need help or with any questions then make you feel like a burden for asking them a question. Literally, verbally exasperated when replying or they will belittle you for not knowing something. They drone on and on about being a team then destroy the morale. They also love to tell you how "transparent" they are then conveniently forget to inform you of changes that affect your life and schedule.
