Relatively little work compared to other banks as everything is handled by offshore teams. If you don’t wish to climb the corporate ladder this place can be good for you
Cons
Because a lot of work is handled by offshore teams, be prepared that you may be the next one cut off from the bank. This place also does not have a European/German culture. It is a full fledged Japanese Traditional Company as senior management is mostly Japanese. Management would be unhappy if you voice out your opinions and say you are attacking them. If you are still fresh in the market, advise you to not join as this place feels stuck in the Showa period. Also, certain staff would come in at 7am and leave late for no reason, just to read news all day and act busy. So if you report on time, technically you are ‘late’ compared to others who reach at 7am ish.
