Pros
Strong business areas means good opportunity to make money. Some smart technology solutions available. Varied success with outsourcing to India, Russia, etc.
Cons
Weak management and lots of red tape means easy things are frustratingly hard to get done. Effectiveness of technology determined by relationship with business, as you'd expect, but bank structure doesn't always promote effective relationships.
