Pros
- tuition reimbursement - tons of pto - looks good on resume - inexpensive health care - overall excellent benefits package - a good place to gain experience for use at other companies
Cons
- miles of red tape - management does not trust employees - they literally have to know where you are and what you are doing at all times. I witnessed managers looking through cracks in bathroom stalls to find a person. They keep files with records of when employees come and go throughout the day. - DB does not empower it's employees - they don't trust their people to get the job done without extreme micromanagement. - management seems incapable of making effective, timely, decisions. - dated, 30 year old systems supported by inept IT support (tata consulting) - Deutsche Bank was involved with the Nazi's - inconsistent review procedures and expectations - if you are not tight with your boss you will go nowhere - they will promote from outside.
