The extra benefits in working with a firm of this calibre is that they provide support and paid training within the following areas for added development - GMAT, MBA, CFA providing paid preparation. The firm also implements and provides current market technology.
Cons
~ Management lacks the following: i. Does not know how to manage situations and would rather delegate their difficult management responsibilities than take control of the situation. ii. Fails to provide proper training to newhires. During the firm's "onboarding" process for new employees, management fails to reach out to new employees and identifies that responsibility belonging to the new employees. Firm needs to do a better job with training management to handle employees, since firm's management does not support employee efforts and would rather protect themselves than protect those under their management. Unsupportive management created low morale within their managed teams. ~ Employees with extensive experience become very comfortable with only addressing their focal business than understanding the need to communicate their wish for the work that requires outside support to be best executed and satisfy their preferences. ~ As supported by another reviewer, it is very difficult and long to get needed applications setup for employees to be productive. Many within the firm refer to it as being the "Deutsche Bank Way."
