Pros
Weekly paycheck Easy to move up in the company Breaks are nice compared to other places I've worked at (15 min, 30 min, and 1 hour depending on time worked) The work and register are easy compared to other places (the truck driver unloads the truck) If something goes wrong, upper management is quick to respond and help
Cons
Cashiers can not void items or transactions and cannot price scan using the computer or we get written up for it. Seems silly since I have been able to do all 3 of those at my other retail jobs. Customers can be very rude but that is expected when working in retail Way too much employee drama No employee discount It is very easy to get "written up" for little things People get fired and quit very frequently Managers work by themselves at times and pull double shifts a lot A lot is expected of a manager such as recovering most of the store by themselves every night Only one manager works at all times (the manager gets interrupted a lot on breaks since there is no manager to cover)
