Pros

You work with good, hardworking people and are able to teach and train and make an impact on their growth and the business. The employees are very eager to do a good job and want to learn more and do better. The store and the store management can be active in the small communities we serve.

Cons

The business is very top down and doesn't take feedback from the field. Labor dollar constraints create a enviroment that is too lean.

Pros

The job itself is easy. The cash register, stocking (especially the totes and dry truck) and cleaning are so simple however there are certain things that make it difficult, although the work itself is not (under the right circumstances.)

Cons

They never have enough people on shift so it’s always difficult to get things done. It seems like all the managers I know from the store I worked at and the surrounding ones are all so deep into drama it made me wonder if I was back in high school. Dry truck always seems to bring far too much and the stores are so little that overstock is a huge issue here. The reason I ultimately left was due to severe mistreatment and some safety concerns I had regarding some past experiences. I am very glad I left and I would not ever go back.
