Pros
Constantly hiring, Budapest office is well-run. Generally friendly, supportive atmosphere. Opportunity for internal mobility. Good compensation. Relaxed environment. Nice office and environment. In the heart of the city. If you just want to do your work, go home, collect your salary, it's not a bad place to work.
Cons
Disregard that the official headquarters are in the US. Command and control comes from Minsk, Belarus. And it shows. Authoritarianism. Group-think. Mindless bureaucracy. Top-down decisions. Little understanding of soft skills, collaboration. It's not how good you are, it's how long you've been there or who you know. An antiquated, Soviet method of business that is now restraining autonomy their other European offices and infecting them with a wretched brand of CIS-concocted ideas about how to do business with the West. Not a congenial environment to those adverse to authoritarianism. Like, the West.
