Pros
Sorry, but now I really believe there is no real advantage in working for a company like this. They look to money more than people. You better try a small company, that will give you a more "familiar" feel. There is a huge self-learning software collection, but nothing worth the pain of not being really comfortable.
Cons
PLEASE BE AWARE Even if the company itself has many projects open around the world, there is no guarantee that you will be joining one. They claim to be a company that lets you grow professionally, but you can only enter a project that matches your current skills. So, how are you supposed to learn? Honestly, I thought it was a different place. But I got no communication at all. Nobody will follow you at your first days, nobody will even tell you who is your manager. If you are not in a project, then you are not in a team, no teammates to confront with, nothing. When you get into projects interviews, your knowledge is "tested" by peers and is usually about theory, not practical. So, if you don't know or remember the definition of that very particular rule you learned many years ago, you may not be approved for a job where you may have performed well. Moreover, don't expect transparent feedback for the interviews result. If you are rejected, they don't owe any explanation to you. Even if the company claims to follow an ethical conduct, they are working for companies that are not ethical, and if you don't accept to be in a project for those companies, you may be labeled as worthless. Last, but not least, even if they claim to be a company with equal opportunities, most of the projects are for other countries. If a project is not intended to have workers from your country, you are out. Not all employees are the same... PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL... I am not saying this because of my termination, they offer good salaries and benefits, but nothing is worth your health. Do not apply for any job here.
