I was promised the opportunity to relocate wherever I wanted and the chance to undergo assessment and grow. But then the war between Russia and Ukraine started, and Epam began relocating employees to different locations and hiring new ones - those who wanted to leave. Everything seemed fine until I moved to Turkey to work at the Epam office there. I worked at Epam Anywhere for 2 years, and throughout that time, I was only told that the opportunity to undergo knowledge assessment and move up to a new role was frozen. To do this, you have to take an exam, but since the company relocated everyone, they closed this opportunity. It's still closed to this day; only selected individuals and those who have been with the company for 5 years or more can take it. Also, nobody raised my salary for 2 years, and the possibility of a raise was also frozen. Moreover, when I changed the country from which I continued to work for them and started asking for some kind of salary reassessment, they said that because you work from a new country, you are considered a new employee, so you have to wait for about another year. In general, there were no opportunities there, and I didn't like the company. Currently, the company is laying off employees and hiring in India and Latin America to save money.
