Pros

Pays well, but I heard it's just to keep people from quitting.

Cons

- 30+% turnover. - Management is narcissistic, abusive, has no bearing on reality, and percieves the world through metrics. - Lots of vaguely dystopian corporate cheerleading meetings to announce your impending doom at the hands of to he lastest micromanagement scheme or stroke the ego of an executive. -The six sigma program is a caricature of the inefficiencies it is meant to eliminate. 3X the industry standard class time, the gating project is too short to complete in the Kafkaesque bureaucratic maze you have to navigate, and you have to go through each belt sequentially (yellow then green then black) to complete the program. Each stage has about 85% washout rate. I think it is primarily a bludgeon to tell employees how worthless they are. - Edwards secret sauce is a tangy blend of apathy and panic. - Yes men abound and are bulletproof, while workhorses are whipped relentlessly until burned out and are discarded. - Here is an actual conversation I had with leaving for the week: "Happy Friday" "Oof, that was a long week, good to be going home." "Were you part of the audit?" "No, just dodging shade from every direction." "So another week at Edwards. . ." Yes, it was.

Pros

All the surface level amenities (building, cafe, gym). Lots of SMEs with big hearts.

Cons

The number of people that quit in the last 90 days. Quiet layoffs The true promotion price is doing 3 jobs and accommodating different time zones. Lots of inexperienced managers and layers Too much " aligning" and "circling back" ; not enough doing
