Pros

Get to travel overseas for kick off and get to travel for conferences Some incredible employees who truly care about patients and put them first Some lovely, experienced and inspiring leaders Free lunches and snacks Free soft drinks in the kitchen Parking on site

Cons

Toxic ANZ HR leadership who tries to block people from advancing in the company and hires friends and past associates who advance in the company. The ANZ HR leadership at events would try and get information on who should be fired or who wasn’t a good fit for their teams while staff were were drinking. They would also make comments such as that staff in Customer Service roles don’t possess any skills to move forward in their careers. CC leadership lacks managerial skills, the interpersonal skills and business acumen, required to be a BU head. The turnover under new CC leadership has been over 60% in 6 months (staff leaving of their own choice) as staff are micromanaged, told how to do their jobs and not supported. CC leadership also laughed with HR leadership after making one person redundant in the team. CC leadership has been vocal about making processes easier but no processes have been improved as most projects are started and not completed. SalesForce was made harder for the sales team not easier under current CC leadership. High turnover of staff - around 50% a year meaning staff are not proficient in their roles and teams are understaffed as they are constantly backfilling positions. Remuneration and benefits are not on par with other medical device companies. The bonus structure was changed before the end of Q1 in 2023 after an amazing quarter where every business overachieved and staff had to sign new bonus structures and contracts days away from the end of Q1, which lead to staff missing out on their bonuses. This was to prevent staff being paid over their commissions. Understaffed in a lot of functions and BU’s Lack of patient focus - more concerned about profits and constantly focused on this in internal meetings. Old office where the ceiling leaks when it rains and the bathrooms are reminiscent of primary school Can only work from home one day per week Staff, including long term staff, disappear and no announcements go out Extremely poor internal procedures which makes work hard to do and means that a lot of staff use this as an excuse not to fulfill their roles Staff were forced to sign new contracts that included clauses such as that you had to disclose which company you were going to if you resigned from Edwards
