Pros

Still decent insurance but not as good as it used to be Salary Good products Great Severance packages

Cons

Benefits are constantly being dropped like stock purchase, fully paid insurance You feel like a number, it doesn't matter how good you are you could be laid off or worse: forced to move, forced to outsource position Outsourcing like crazy, moving entire products to the cheapest labor source to save money and then wondering why the products die Terrible decisions that never make sense It seems Ericsson now wants to be out of the software biz as they are selling off products, off shoring, heavy use of contractors no opportunity to move up, training is very hard to get/find Playing games during downsizing, forced resignations if you don't: move, if you don't stay to train your offshore replacements, take a position with a contractor, setting long or extended time windows final layoff date (hoping you will leave sooner without severance) watching your friends and coworkers constantly being let go dealing with new people who don't have the right skills or experience

Pros

The company culture is great. Super flexible, remote work culture and tons of different areas or career paths to pivot into. International company with offices in 180 different countries. Loads of diversity.

Cons

Many teams can be international, so timezones will conflict a lot and make it much harder to work with people who are overseas as they are logging off as you are getting on. This also causes communication issues as sometimes there can be language barriers.

Pros

Get work with an excellent team on interesting problems related to network API's, and communication APIs.

Cons

Some of the products could be better. Internal tooling changes a lot. Sales team don't get enough support from Marketing.
