Pros

They make it sound like there is a ton of opportunities and its super easy to get in the door.

Cons

Express Employment Professionals are not professional people or staff members who follow up with on a daily or weekly basis. They interview you with miscellaneous questions. And after you fill out your paper work and interview, they state they will call you but never will. Even after a week, I called in and the gal or staff member had me on hold with another person on the other line and we both ended up talking to each other. Then staff member was so unprofessional and literally yelled or raised her voice at me stating she can't find my file. She was suppose to follow up with the Yuba City (in California) office and never called back or reviewed my profile for other jobs. I showed in business causal attire and the staff member (working there) were in sands or flip flops. How do you expect to take this place seriously? Then after two weeks, I called and never heard a word or call for interest of employment for a long time now. Please don't go here with all your confidential information because its not professional and its seriously a joke for people to look for jobs. I think they get paid on how many people they get in to sign up and that is it. No bonus or commission made after that. No compassion for people who sign up for work.

Pros

The owner, Jessica, is fantastic as is the sales manager, Kirby. It can be a fun environment and putting people in a position to succeed is always rewarding.

Cons

Employees are not held to any sort of reasonable professional standard. Where it directly impacted this role at the time was that at least 25 hours every week were spent essentially begging employees to turn in time cards rather than doing anything productive. Standards seemed pretty inconsistent at times. The company felt a little aimless. There were several conflicting plans for the future. My understanding is that in the six months after my separation, they more or less replaced the entire staff for various reasons. Maybe they got it figured out now.
