Pros

-We really do help people get out of either unemployment situations or away from jobs where they aren't hitting their potential or isn't fitting their lifestyle. -Autonomy to do what I see fit in my role to drive success for myself and the business. -Good company with a good reputation and support from corporate and regional offices that truly want to see us succeed.

Cons

-Marketing materials are usually hokey and I don't think resonate with employers that we are handing them out to. -The staffing industry is incredibly saturated so I am often fighting the stereotype that all we do is provide temporary employees everywhere I go. -Franchising structure leaves quality varying greatly from office to office along with different pricing for the companies we work with. -Small locations so many people in the office are wearing multiple hats. -Feel sometimes that we are simply more expensive because we have to pay franchising fees to our corporate office. Not because we fill jobs faster or provide a higher quality of candidate.

Pros

The owner, Jessica, is fantastic as is the sales manager, Kirby. It can be a fun environment and putting people in a position to succeed is always rewarding.

Cons

Employees are not held to any sort of reasonable professional standard. Where it directly impacted this role at the time was that at least 25 hours every week were spent essentially begging employees to turn in time cards rather than doing anything productive. Standards seemed pretty inconsistent at times. The company felt a little aimless. There were several conflicting plans for the future. My understanding is that in the six months after my separation, they more or less replaced the entire staff for various reasons. Maybe they got it figured out now.
