Great Growth Opportunity- Awful Ownership/Management - Anonymous employee Express Employment Professionals Employee Review

Pros

This company offers great growth opportunities, primarily because the internal turnover rate is so high. They'll take minimal experience so it's a good job right out of college.

Cons

Ownership/management is really good at cultivating an atmosphere of resentment. Management leaves every day at lunch to go grocery shopping while all other employees are expected to work through lunch. Internal team is given very little actual support; management will say all the right things but will never follow through. Management doesn't take any responsibility for issues that arise and love to use lower level employees as scapegoats. Training is terrible. Management does not do any training of new employees. Instead, current employees that are already overwhelmed with work are expected to take time out of their day to train, and are criticized when they don't meet the metrics for the day. No actual pay scale, either. They'll pay a brand new employee with no relevant experience the same as an employee who has been with the company for two years. Internal culture looks like a sorority. Most of the employees are young white women under 30.

Pros

I have a hard time saying anything good about this place. If I had to say something, there was room to grow into different positions.

Cons

Small office space Toxic workplace Gossiping constantly about one another When I was given something to do with socials, I was told Im not doing enough for recruiting. Would switch to solely focus on recruiting and then told Im not doing enough for socials. I was always put in a lose lose situation with what was expected of me in my job. I was threatened over a parking space. When I tried talking to management I was dismissed. Unprofessionalism, coworkers would openly talk bad about candidates. With a small office space everyone can hear including people who came into interview. Highly disorganized I could go on and on...
