You can enjoy having brand new ping pong tables and crappy food in the mess hall, just do t expect things like a desk to work at when you are in the office or a compensation package that approaches the median for your job role
Cons
Management is getting uppity about people coming into the office because Abby Johnson doesn’t want to admit that the Pandora’s box they opened by forcing us to work remote for 2 years has permanently changed the way people look at software work. They’d rather force us back into our cramped offices to protect their real estate interests than to admit that it’s objectively a worse way to work. This is compounded by the fact that most development teams are spread out over two continents for cost saving measures
