Pros

They had some good people working there and I could work when I wanted to within guidelines, like be there at 8:00 AM and make sure everything worked.

Cons

It could be good or cut-throat depending on the supervisor. There could be a lot of dishonesty and drama. Unfortunately I had to cover for my boss so work weeks were 70 to 80 hours frequently. I stayed for my friends as long as I could. An entire floor crashed after I left for two weeks and they lost business for a long time. When they got a new tech and allowed him to get it going again they did well again. It could have been done in about a month. I've done that with less powerful equipment before. But because of Corporate politics it took over a year. And now they are doing good again. Sometimes a manager who wants to get ahead over others can cause trouble for the whole company.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
