Pros

The people who work there are mostly very friendly - I got on with the majority of my colleagues. There was also some work from home potential

Cons

The graduate scheme is highly competitive and is constantly talked up in the company - however I had an awful time as did many in my cohort, many of whom left as soon as they could. I was given almost nothing to do, was regularly pitted against my peers, was patronised and treated like a child by many of the older men in SLT. The grad scheme element consisted mostly of 8, fairly useless learning modules that we attended over 2 years. Outside of that there was no support from the grad scheme team who were more interested in recruitment than retainment. Nobody checked in from the wider organisation to see how grads were fairing. Many of the grads who I knew suffered massively with mental health due to the poor support and opportunities provided. We were told by Business Unit leadership that we just needed to be more resilient. I personally was given very little work to do or responsibility - despite seeking it out regularly. Then was penalised for such in performance reviews.
