Pros
Fast growing company with double digit revenue growth.
Cons
During the recruiting process, Gartner practically promises that you will be making $250 to $300K a year and Gartner will make everything possible to ensure your success. What they don’t tell you is that after completing their Academy Training program you can be fired if you’re consider a bad fit. Termination will occur even after the new employee has quit there previous job, relocated at a great expense. Gartner shows no empathy for the situation these unsuspecting employees are put through. No remorse from management that lives are destroyed. I know of at least one suicide due to this practice. The first question a recent fired Academy graduate asked a manager “why was I not told during the interviewing process that you could be fired right out of Academy”, the response from the manager was that if they disclosed this fact, they would not be able to recruit as many applicants. At no point are trainees told they might be fired. The training process can take from 6 weeks to over 2 months. During this period trainees are away from their homes and families. It’s unfortunate because a lot of people move just for this job, and they do not even know if they will make it through training and a lot of people don't. It’s downright a cruel and unethical practice that Gartner needs to stop doing. They are obsessed with role playing to the point Gartner feels like a cult. Stay away
