Pros

Building relationships with Fortune 500+ C level Executives, Building and hosting white glove events, working with leaders from around the country, seeing a large production come together and be successful, sponsorship sales, being in the room for some of the best minds in the world. Really nice office.

Cons

The frat boy office culture that pushes out anyone they aren't close friends with. The Gong that's rang when a sale closes. Being in the office every day which might of changed after the pandemic. Lack of training and practice for running an event and presenting/speaking at large events. This has changed but the PM's used to have two jobs, selling sponsorships and stacking attendance to events along with some other activities but now they have separated these main functions which makes all the sense. When I was there, if your events did really well, the quotas would be out of reach the next year because nothing changed as far as size of event and max number of sponsors.

Work life balance, though in late 2026 will be required to go back to office. Full autonomy for your own schedule.

Cons

Absolutely no path for growth.

Pros

Being a globally recognized company makes it easy to consistently engage clients. Great benefits. Amazing people (managers and colleagues) For the most part there is a clear path to success and promotions. Executives listen to feedback after every internal call to help guide strategy.

Cons

In office mandate increasing in office days from once a month to once a week. Need to live in Florida or Texas because of the in office mandate. Promotions take a while since there are many people going for the same roles. Hard to reach clients and constant territory’s shifting makes it difficult to achieve the numbers you and management expect.
