Pros

It's easy to bamboozle people! I managed to get a promotion within 6 months of joining! I got a nice $30k a year salary uplift doing that. However, little did I know but noone else really wanted the job. The more experienced people in the company realised how terrible the environment was the higher up you go. Senior level roles are setup to not be able to improve the lives of clients or staff, its purely internally focussed. You're in meetings with sales reviewing excel files a LOT. At a vice president level at gartner you're given a lot of responsibility with very little autonomy on the product, processes, or pricing. So all you can really do is tell the people that report to you to work harder! how good is that!? I found that very motivating!

Cons

Can't effect change in any way shape or form

Pros

Culture & Team collaboration, Benefits, PTO Policy

Cons

Probably the biggest con is our data management systems, something they're working on but needs improvement

Pros

Being a globally recognized company makes it easy to consistently engage clients. Great benefits. Amazing people (managers and colleagues) For the most part there is a clear path to success and promotions. Executives listen to feedback after every internal call to help guide strategy.

Cons

In office mandate increasing in office days from once a month to once a week. Need to live in Florida or Texas because of the in office mandate. Promotions take a while since there are many people going for the same roles. Hard to reach clients and constant territory’s shifting makes it difficult to achieve the numbers you and management expect.
