Pros

-Rewarding, interesting, exciting work -Great emphasis on work-life balance -Excellent benefits (free lunch, exercise classes, commuter benefits, paid-for insurance premium, flexible PTO) -Exciting time to be at the company — we're in early enough to have a lot of impact, but late enough that we're over a lot of the instability that early stage startups have -The company's doing very well at the moment -Kind and interesting coworkers. I've been in some cliquey workplaces before, and this is a refreshing break -Twice annual performance bonuses -Good managers and leadership -Most people here really believe in the mission -Lots of flexibility when it comes to working from home

Cons

-The commute. I reeeeally wish the office was in SF, not Marin -Work life balance is good overall, but there are moments where it really flares up (but that's largely because my team has roles that need to be filled) -Pay is pretty competitive for my role, although I know others don't feel the same (a lot of people in STEM roles and sales, I believe)

Thanks for sharing and we’re glad you’re part of the team! Right now our SF office is small but mighty, and currently only houses a small number of data and engineering folks. As we grow, there’s certainly opportunity to expand, so having more people in our SF location is definitely something we can look at in the future.

Pros

The benefits and culture were probably the best I've ever had. Even better than the benefits were the people I worked with. I enjoyed coming into work and doing my job and really stood behind the company tag line of helping people find jobs they love.

Cons

During covid things started getting bad. Like many other companies layoffs came around and how the company handled those were terrible. You show up one day and next thing you know you lose access and cryptic email and then your'e gone. This happened again in 2025. They brought in person whose job it was to basically get people to leave. They didn't care about the content on the site, or any of the efforts in place to promote integrity and transparency and instead just wanted to shove AI down everyone's throat. What's sad is that Glassdoor was once a great company that I was proud to say I worked for. Now it's just like everywhere else, AI, AI, AI and trying to get people to quit before the next round of layoffs.
