Thanks for providing a candid review. You’ll be glad to know that since 2020, there have been a lot of changes at Glassdoor. We continue to learn and grow together. Though I’m sorry this was not your experience two years ago, our leadership team has worked hard to regularly solicit and act upon employee feedback. For example, recently, employee survey data revealed a disconnect between leadership and our employees on our strategy. In response, our C-Suite provided clear visibility in a company kick-off, follow up materials in email, hosted a leader offsite for reinforcement, and equipped leaders to cascade information to our teams. We’ll continue to provide updates to our people using a number of communication channels and I’m thrilled to be part of this work. Ensuring that our teams understand their very important roles in Glassdoor’s future and strategy and the decisions that may impact them is critical to our success.
Our commitment to transparency has never been stronger and we are working closely together to deliver on that promise. We may not always get it perfectly right, but our hearts and intentions are in the right place. We will continue to listen and to improve how we share and communicate key priorities and strategies especially when they impact individuals at the organization.
Finally, I’m glad that your experience with our amazing people was so positive. I agree that I’ve had the privilege to work with some of the greatest people of my career here. Our managers care deeply about our people. The work has been hard over the last two years and work-life balance has not been the same as pre-pandemic, but we will continue to look for ways to make it better.
Thank you again for your feedback.
