Hi there - thank you for taking the time to share your experience and the fulfillment that comes with a positive work/life balance, workload, and peers. I also hear your feedback as it relates to career progression and the announcement of the layoff last year.
I cannot speak for the promotion rate of all POCs within Glassdoor, but I know this has been Priority One for our DEI team. Within our CS teams, we run a fair and equitable calibration process, ensuring there is consistency and alignment in our process, this goes for the actual performance rating as well as promotions. I understand wanting more transparency leading up to the layoffs but I also recognize our senior leaders need to balance various legal, strategic, and practical considerations when making decisions about disclosure timing and communication strategies around layoffs, and providing advance notice is not always possible.
