Pros

Benefits are awesome- truly like woah!! Great managers/direct reports. Amazing culture- truly the best one I've ever had in a company. I love that each person, even on a cross-functional level, works really hard to get things done the right way, and doesn't take short cuts. There is a solid work/life balance, too though. I really appreciate our leadership team, and their openness with changes. I have seen a lot of changes in my first year here, and have still felt supported through it all. This company wants you to succeed in every way possible, too. I feel cared about on both a personal and professional level. Honestly, I hope to stay here for as long as possible!! I am very happy here.

Cons

I can't say there are any 'cons' for Glassdoor specifically. Naturally, given the economic climate, there are changes; the way they go about it is constructive in my very strong opinion. At the end of the day, I trust that leadership cares about us, and provides us as much transparency as they possibly can. They really stand by their values and mission and that means a lot to me, and makes the company more credible in my eyes.

Wow!! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this very thoughtful review. The entire leadership team cares deeply about your feedback, both constructive and positive. Hearing the different ways you feel things are going well is encouraging and uplifting, helps us know we are on the right track… even as we continue to work to make things even better. - Andrea Johnson, Director of Customer Success

Pros

The benefits and culture were probably the best I've ever had. Even better than the benefits were the people I worked with. I enjoyed coming into work and doing my job and really stood behind the company tag line of helping people find jobs they love.

Cons

During covid things started getting bad. Like many other companies layoffs came around and how the company handled those were terrible. You show up one day and next thing you know you lose access and cryptic email and then your'e gone. This happened again in 2025. They brought in person whose job it was to basically get people to leave. They didn't care about the content on the site, or any of the efforts in place to promote integrity and transparency and instead just wanted to shove AI down everyone's throat. What's sad is that Glassdoor was once a great company that I was proud to say I worked for. Now it's just like everywhere else, AI, AI, AI and trying to get people to quit before the next round of layoffs.
