Pros
As of today I work inside the GB technology department for more than 10 years now and went through a lot of ups and downs with this company. All of my managers were always professional and caring about my well-being and my colleagues were doing their best to support each other and myself. There are social initiatives and get togethers driven by the works council which are even funded and supported by the company. Since COVID-19 the company did undergo a massive shift towards home office allowance, which was a great gain for my work-life balance.
Cons
Work pressure is high. There are always too many things to do and never enough time and people to get it sorted. Priorities frequently change and there is a lot of firefighting which makes planning ahead pretty difficult.
