Pros
Great benefits, fun work environment, opportunities to travel and be a part of store openings, great starting pay, meeting new people that become family
Cons
H&M wants to have a great place to work, work environment but in actuality it's not. I've been working here fulltime for 4 years and witnessed how upper head plays favoritism. It's all politics, about who you know if you want to move you up with the company. There's really not much room for growth unless your friends with the district team. They also have a bad habit of hiring unqualified people for management positions which ultimately brings down the moral of the store. There is also no work life balance which sucks if your full time or in a management position. They expect you to dedicate your whole life to the company so you really don't have any room to do anything outside of work like work another part time job or go to school full time. After a year or two of working at H&M you start to see all the shenanigans that go on behind the scenes.
