Pros

1-I came from a telecommunications company to Henry Schein and I doubled my income and then some within the first 3 years of working here. 2-I love the people that I work with. 3-I get paid holidays. 4-If you apply yourself you can move up in the company and not be stuck where you are. 5-I get 160 hours of PTO however it accrues month to build up to it which is still good. 6-I feel the insurance benefits are good. 7-They bring lunch to you to pay for so you don't have to travel during your lunch. 8-Company throws parties every now and then. 9-I enjoy the customers that I speak with. Majority are very friendly. 10-They don't have you work on the weekends.

Cons

1-If you call in sick then it gets taken out of your PTO to pay for that day without giving the option to not use your PTO time for it. 2-Takes 1 full year for your points to roll of which I think can be improved on to be more reasonable. 3-Can be frustrating at times with being short staffed (I don't know about other departments). 4-Wish there was more leniency with the points like if you forgot to log back in from lunch, but you were working then to not give a .25 for it if your not a repeat offender.

Pros

Henry Schein has a genuinely collaborative culture where teamwork and respect are part of daily work life. Leadership is supportive and encourages open communication, professional development, and continuous learning. There are great opportunities to grow your skill set, especially through cross functional work with teams across pricing, product data, sales, and operations. Work–life balance is solid, the company has remote opportunities and is a respected leader in the healthcare industry. I also appreciate the company’s commitment to community outreach and social responsibility—it reinforces that we’re working for a mission-driven organization.

Cons

Like most large organizations, processes can sometimes feel slow due to the number of teams involved. Change management can take time, and cross-department alignment requires patience. However, leadership has been taking steps to improve workflows and increase efficiency.
