      Pros

      Benefits, work/life balance, freedom to collaborate with management/directors. When accepting my offer with Henry Schein, I had two additional offers which were far closer to my residence, but after speaking with HR and learning about the commitment to the community and Team Schein Members, I knew the the culture and environment of the company would be far more in line with my personality. It's almost been three months since accepting my role and I must say, I still love everything about the company and the commitment to ensure a development based career.

      Thankfully, I haven't come across any topics which I would consider a negative.

      Henry Schein has a genuinely collaborative culture where teamwork and respect are part of daily work life. Leadership is supportive and encourages open communication, professional development, and continuous learning. There are great opportunities to grow your skill set, especially through cross functional work with teams across pricing, product data, sales, and operations. Work–life balance is solid, the company has remote opportunities and is a respected leader in the healthcare industry. I also appreciate the company’s commitment to community outreach and social responsibility—it reinforces that we’re working for a mission-driven organization.

      Cons

      Like most large organizations, processes can sometimes feel slow due to the number of teams involved. Change management can take time, and cross-department alignment requires patience. However, leadership has been taking steps to improve workflows and increase efficiency.
