Pros

Grabbing here...Paycheck came on time?

Cons

Zero employee focus unless there is a problem, then you get more focus than any one person can handle. Employees are used to meet numbers for shareholders...not making numbers at quarter end, furloughs, pay cuts, layoffs. Not making year, benefit cuts, more layoffs, cancel hiring. Zero tranparency. You can count on that most of what little you are told, will be half the truth or spun. Lots of complaints about HR, while I agree they are not the smartest bunch of office mates there at HoneyHell, I was one of them after all so first hand experience, HR doesn't control anything, the upper management puppeteers everything, HR just gets the honkr to be the face to the employee. Employee surveys...wow...the idea to fix morale and engagement through employee clubs?? Pretty sure thats just not doing it. Constant layoffs and furloughs, constant. How does it feel to come to work each day not knowing if that day is "the" day? Brutal, I was there. How can you pay bills when there are constant furloughs? Only managers bonus so think about this when you are laid off...your manager, execs, etc still get their bonuses even when there were layoffs in the department or function. How does that feel?!?! How is that even legal? Shouldn't be and I couldn't be a part of it any longer, hence I left.

Pros

The team is great and people are excited to have you there. You are given value-added work and projects week 1. There are a lot of other interns at both the graduate and undergraduate level so there is a strong sense of intern community and support. If you have to relocate for the internship, complete housing is provided (they find you an apartment and pay for everything - results on the apartment itself may vary but are generally close to the office).

Cons

Varying start dates led to varying first day experience. The onboarding day for those who had it day 1 was great, but some interns got it after their first week and had little direction day 1.
