Pros

Constantly looking to the future. Always hesitant to take the step forward. Rarely consider new/more useful processes. "That's the way we've always done it so why would we change it" mentality.

Cons

Management doesn't care about their employees. Terrible insurance. Layoffs, furlough weeks. Moral is low most of the time. Always a dark cloud of 'layoff possibilities' overhead. A lot of outsourcing to other countries brings down productivity. Not a lot of energy in the environment, it can bring you down. Sometimes feel more like a number than a valued employee. Lack of qualified leadership and too many organizational changes.

Pros

Interesting product offerings, learning both global and domestic industry, ability to climb the ladder and have career growth if you work hard. Great people within the business.

Cons

Honeywell corporate culture is very negative. They don't really care about employees, and many executive level managers will ask for things that require late night and weekend work. There is very little work life balance, and no cross training so you still may be contacted or expected to pitch in while you are on vacation.
