Chaotic management , Short-sighted technology vision - Research Engineer Huawei Technologies Employee Review

The management, in terms of project, HR and technology, is a big chaos. The worst thing is that, those high-level managers, who dont know the technologies and sometime dont even want to know the technologies, are making the technology development plan. It is happening everywhere through out the company. It makes the engineers, who are actually doing the work, extremely difficult to carry out the assigned task without clear and properly-defined motivations and targets. Managers don't care about the career development of employees. Quite rare (almost impossible) to observe a continuously rising learning curve as it will always got interrupted frequently by fast-changing project and organizational changes. Not a ideal place for researchers due to the fickle-minded atmosphere.
