Pros
1. Lot of opportunity to learn new technologies. 2. Good for freshers who does not have much preference to personal life. 3. If you are workaholic then this is best place for you, you can work as much as you want, there is no upper limit.
Cons
1. Management is worst here. lots of politics. 2. Lots of preferential treatment, creamy layer exist here. Manager treats some employees(so called SEs) as first class citizen, they only work 10 AM to 6 PM like govt employees. They will not do whatever they are supposed to do like code review/design etc, still they enjoy ministerial facilities and they will get highest ratings and eat all benefits. All the responsibilities of them, they will just delegate to developers and any problems happen they will make the developer scapegoat. 3. Horrible team structure, to manage 5 developers, they have 3 managers, 3 SEs(belongs to creamy layer who just delegates the works and leave early).All the works to be done by developers, managers are like labour contractor, they don't have technical knowledge. Even some of the managers do not know how to login to the system. You can imagine how horrible the management will be. 4. Most of the managers work in a shift, one manager will come in the morning and leave in the evening and another will come come in the evening and seatt till next morning and leave. the other manager will come in the morning. This way they will make sure that the developer does not leave office. They have to continuously work 48 hours without break most of the time. 3. Too much work pressure. Most of the employees now a days work more than 48 hours without break. You should be ready to spend most of the time in office almost 24/7 hours. Manager will force employee to come in the midnight even in weekends irrespective of your situation and health condition. 4. Now a days salary is almost similar to service company. Avg hike is 7-8% . 5. No facilities for employees even you have to buy tea from your pocket.
