Pros
Good policy allowing work from home Decent number of women in management positions; good diversity policy
Cons
IBM U.S. has been laying off about 9,000 employees a year in the last 5 years or so, while hiring a lot of employees in China and India, as a cost savings/executive bonus increase practice. As a result, unfortunately, you will see talented and experienced coworkers shoved out the door. Management will lie often about this practice and others; do not trust anything they say. I have worked for IBM for 27 years and have seen the company go from one of the best to just another greedy executive driven American company who will get away with anything they can. Watch your back.
