Pros
Work life balance. One of the best work in financial industry. Very good learning for first 2-3 years. Reasonable pay given the actual work. Even if pay might be slightly less than industry the work effort is also much lesser.
Cons
Not rewarding performance is probably the worst part about the company. Standard hikes based on tenure and not on performance is the policy. This has killed the culture of competition among peers and noone strives for improvement anymore. The company seems to be in an auto pilot mode. Top management sucks and is totally unable to tackle this. Company resorting to short term measures such as high salary hikes , retention bonus etc to stop attrition. Poor acquisitions, beurocratic processes making this worse. Icra is mostly the last one to adapt in the industry keeping it at the loosing side most of the time. Hardly any professional growth post 2-3 years in this top heavy industry. Sales team does not get the deserved respect. Also analytical team quality is deteriorating day by day. Analytical team was once its competitive advantage.
