Pros

1. Pick and drop provided by company 2. Food is provided in subsided rate 3. Basic necessities (like first aids, security, and cleanliness) are available to the employee.

Cons

Worked for 2 years in Quintiles and saw the transformation from Quintiles to QuintilesIMS - in that many jobs was cut without any reason. QuintilesIMS follow "hire and fire" process. 1. Management does not care about the employee welfare and considers only their sole welfare. 2. The timings are very un-human starts at 6 am in the morning and ends at 2 pm (that's on papers and you have to overstretch every time) 3. No overtime compensation is provided to the employee. At time of joining the company, HR will say that over time is around 2500 INR, but in actual, they will never give this amount 4. The work load is soo much that no personal life remains for the employee and it becomes mandatory to the employee to do overstretching every time and day. 5. The project manager has enough liberty from the top management to say or even lie with the employees to get the things done and in turn, nothing can be done. 6. The HR department is extremely unhelpful. Instead of protecting the employee welfare they always support the management even though the management is wrong in many instances. 7. The organization says in papers Saturday and Sunday and public holiday off, but in actual you have to work on every Saturday and on some Sundays too, even on public holidays like Diwali, Eid, Independence day (15th August), every holiday you have to work. 8. An employee cannot approach directly to HR or top level management for their complain it is treated like a non-compliance issue and together they will ensure to make your life hell. 9. No motivation at all, life becomes monotonous even depression comes (observed many my colleagues been to depression) 10. No opportunities and only Neoptim works 11. Pay scale is very low compared to industry terms. So, in nutshell, if you are thinking to join QuintilesIMS , then, think 1000 times before making your life hell and if you have already joined this organization then, all the best you are already been to hell. Pros

Great pay initially, especially after negotiating. People are very smart and willing to meet for networking and learning opportunities. Flexibility and work life balance is by far the best perk - especially since many roles are fully remote.

Cons

Merit raises have been subpar the last 4 years and do not come close to keeping with inflation, consistently the company cites great EBITDA growth but that never is shown in bonuses nor merit raises despite receiving “exceeds expectations” ratings. Parental leave is a nominal. Very easy to get “lost in the sauce” of such a large company.
